Fluid, spicy summer honey

Our bees collected nectar in the summer from our farm’s surroundings, incl. clover, raspberries, strawberries and meadow flowers. Harvested in July 2025.

Fluid honey will begin to stiffen and crystallise in a month or two. This does not affect the quality or taste, just the texture. You can keep it from crystallising hard, by stirring it periodically.

Creamy spring honey

Our bees collected nectar in spring from our farm’s surroundings, including hawthorns, maples and lilacs. Harvested in June 2025.

Marianne is our bee expert

At Søagergård we have five bee families that help us pollinate trees, bushes and flowers, and they also make a lot of lovely honey. Marianne studies our bees' behaviour in the hives and around Søagergård, to make sure they remain healthy. 

With more than 120,000 bees, we also make sure that there is enough pollen and nectar. We have done this by planting more flowers and fruit trees on the farm.

Store honey in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. It is advised that honey is not given to children under one year old.
