General questions and answers

What makes our product better?

We work with animals and our ecology like no-one else in Denmark. If, like us, you believe that you are what you eat. Then the better the lives of the animals, the better your food and the healthier you are. If that is you, we welcome you home.

Do you deliver?

We are in Copenhagen every Sunday from May until Christmas. Find us at your nearest Green Market

From January to the end of May, we will be delivering every Sunday to subscribers, at the locations of the Green Market (first Sunday, Refshaleøen, second Sunday Vesterbro, third Sunday Nørrebro, fourth Sunday Frederiksberg).

We also deliver our eggs to a select few cafes and restaurants. Can you find out which ones, by tasting our distinctive eggs in their dishes?

Why is your produce so expensive yet sometimes sold out?

Our prices are based on customer demand. We have hundreds of clients each week that value our approach to quality, animal welfare, ecology and going with the seasons.

As we have reverence for our animals and our ecology, we do not farm intensively. This means that the animals are not densely packed into areas and that the land gets to properly recover and flourish. This is converse to other producers.

We don't want to disappoint customers. But it is our philosophy and way of life - which ultimately results in produce that is worth savouring when it is available. This honours the animals' sacrifices and the land more so than industrial agriculture.

Our work is time intensive, spending more time with the animals to make sure they have what they need to lead happy lives. We believe this investment of our time should be properly compensated.

Are you certified organic?

No. We do not think the minimum organic regulations are good enough and do not want to be part of that "system". We feed unsprayed, soy free feed to our hens and pigs. Our cows are 100% grass-fed.

Not being part of organic certification means that we can challenge the marketing around the standard and our customers' perceptions of what good animal welfare and care for the environment should look like.

How do I use my "credit"?

You may be issued with "credit". To use it, you must log into your account (head and shoulders icon in the top left).

Enter your email. An access code will be sent to your email. Enter this code on the site - this will log you in.

The system knows it is you and will offer for you to spend your credit at the check out page for your next order.

Collections at the farm

What are your opening hours?

Every day, 07:00-18:00. The shop requires MitID and Mobilepay.

What do you stock?

We stock dairy, Regenerative Eggs, meat and skin balms.

What to bring and what not to bring

What to bring:

  • Frozen meat and refrigerated items: cool bag and cooling elements are useful
  • Mobile phone with MitID and Mobilepay, for entry to the shop

What not to bring:

  • Dogs or other animals. These must stay in the car if you cannot avoid bringing them on the premises
  • Expectations for an impromptu farm tour or solo walk on the farm. Please book a farm tour in advance

If I want other items not stocked in the farm shop?

Order on this site for pick up at 18:00 ONLY, Monday to Saturday.

If you expect that you are going to be late by more than 10 minutes, please let us know by email - you can reply to the order email you received.

If you are early, please wait in your car.

If we are late, please email us. We do not give out our telephone numbers.

Payment can be in card on the site, or cash on pick up.

Collections in Copenhagen on Fridays and Sundays

Where do you deliver in Copenhagen?

On Fridays, we are at Torvehallerne (just outside the two pavilions). Between 15:00 and 19:00 - just so you can stop by on your way home from work.

May to December, we are at the Green Market every Sunday of the month. The Market rotates locations, so please see our contact us page for addresses and details

When to arrive and what to do if you are running late

Please get in touch by chat if you will be late.

May-Christmas: The markets run between 10:00 and 14:00. You don't have to tell us if you are going to be a little late, as long as you arrive before 14:00. If you are later than 14:00, your reserved produce may be sold to other customers.

Memberships

Do I have to order only from Nutritious and Delicious Collection?

Not at all! Order anything that we have in stock. The Nutritious and Delicious Collection gives you extra

Can I order the same amount of certain produce for 4 weeks in a row?

A: Yes, apart from raw milk, which can only be ordered weekly. You can order the same of one or more produce by making orders and selecting pickup locations for up to 28 days in advance.

For example, you can choose to pick up 10 Regenerative Eggs in Copenhagen one week, the farm another week, etc.

Simply make the orders online for each pickup.

How does the special pricing work?

Once you become a Member, we open up a special tier of discounts for the Nutritious and Delicious Collection.

When you log into our online shop, it will recognise you as a Member and special pricing will become available for the Nutritious and Delicious Selection when you go to checkout and use your special code.

The special Member pricing does not currently combine with other discounts.

How do credits work on the online shop?

Once we register you, we will add the amount you paid for Membership as a credit to the online shop.

You can use this credit for anything on the site in the period of 30 days. The credit and discount is valid only online and for pre-orders.

You can also spend more and still get the same discount, just pay for any extras as you do normally.

How is the Monthly Membership different from Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

It's much more flexible to your needs! You aren't locked into long periods or to getting the same weekly produce that you don't want to eat, which is typical of a CSA experience.

We have a short, one-month subscription that you can renew as you wish. Order as much or as little as you want, on the weeks that you want it. 



What if some products are sold out?

A: If products in the Nutritious and Delicious Collection are sold out, please let us know and we will do our best to prioritise you and meet your needs.

Other products can be seasonal or limited edition, which are not within the Collection.

Will the Nutritious and Delicious Collection change?

Yes, as we make new products and see what our members and customers enjoy, the Nutritious and Delicious Collection will evolve.

There will be seasonal changes, too, based on harvests and abundance at the time of year. 

Which location do I order the Membership to, on the checkout page?

Order to anywhere and any time. This will not impact on your ability to order your products. 

How does Membership billing work?

When you pay for a Membership with your bank card, the details will remain securely on file with Shopify, our ecommerce provider and the world's largest.

Towards the end of the month, you will get a notification that your Membership will automatically renew, unless you make changes in your account, under Subscription Management. 

There, you can skip the next month - then you'll get another email towards the next month about the upcoming renewal.

You can also cancel the subscription.

Where do I manage my Membership contract?

When you log into your account (an icon that looks like the head and shoulders of a person), please click on the Subscription Management tab.

Raw milk

Is raw milk available?

No, raw milk is not for sale to the general public.

We do not answer questions about raw milk.

Can I get raw milk because I have heard it will cure my xyz?

Sorry if you have something you believe that raw milk will help.
